The news that the ban on team orders will be reviewed by F1's Sporting Working Group later in the year, has been received with a degree of relief in the Formula 1 paddock.

The judging body of the World Motor Sport Council's decision to confirm Ferrari's $100,000 fine for a breach of article 39.1 of the sporting regulations but take no further action is a victory for common sense.

Ferrari has issued a press release, following the FIA World Council meeting today.

The Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), Formula One's governing body, upheld a $100,000 fine against the Ferrari team and will not impose any further penalties against the team following the team orders controversy at the German Grand Prix in July.

The FIA's World Motor Sport Council today announced a provisional calendar for the 2011 Formula 1 season, starting in Bahrain in March and ending in Brazil in November.

None of the potential new teams bidding for a place on the Formula 1 grid have been successful, the governing body revealed today.

Sauber has re-signed Japanese rookie Kamui Kobayashi for 2011.
